Speaking about what stimulated to her to begin her career with a mythological show, she said, “When I first got a call to audition for Mahabharat, I was little sceptical as I always perceived mythological shows to be loud and that is the reason I did not want to be in that space. Prior to Mahabharat, she did an episode of Teri Meri Love Stories with Karan Kundra. The Delhi born model-turned-actor was in the top 10 finalists in Femina Miss India 2006.
